Starfish Partners Foundation Takes on the #ALSIceBucketChallenge
Our very own Karen Schmidt and Lee Martin were challenged to the #ALSIceBucketChallenge by Tracy Denton from the Dallas chapter of The Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). This morning Karen and Lee accepted this challenge and were doused in a bath of frigid ice water supported by the Kaye/Bassman International office.
For those who haven’t heard, the idea behind the #ALSIceBucketChallenge is that once nominated by someone who has already completed the challenge, the nominee has 24 hours to have a bucket of ice water dumped over their head and donate $10 to ALS, OR the they can simply donate $100 to ALS instead.
Videos of people completing this cold feat are all over social media right now, so Karen and Lee are challenging all of those viewing their #ALSIceBucketChallenge to make a donation!
